Thank you for your appraisal, however, I believe this domain can be used as a potential business by giving student sessions applicable to their Majors.
You can look at this example of what I've made: Website

Sure, I mean you asked for an appraisal, and I gave one.

Domain: StudentSession.com
Registered on: 2024-01-15
  • No internet archive history.
  • Long name.
  • Low SERP term search results (~150k)
  • No sale history (NameBio)
  • No backlinks.
  • Low DAS

Is it possible to sell the name for more? Yes. From an industry perspective, is it a name I'd actively pick up to sell to an end-user / wholesale? No.

Very clean name, could see someone picking this up and using it to offer homework services. I personally don't have an appraisal, but it is a nice URL. Best of luck with this.

I mostly agree with Matty, this domain does not hold intrinsic value. It is brandable, I think you can definitely get more than $35 for it if you sell it correctly. However, I think you're best off to get an idea behind it with a website, logos, social media accounts, etc. and sell it as a ready to go business.

I wouldn't take into account the bullet list of "cons" - Most business owners would not care about this as they'd work on their own SEO and past history isn't truly that big of a factor, these only apply to investors, resellers, and those just interested in domains with history and not necessarily the domain itself.

My appraisal on it's own: Exactly the amount you paid to register it. Probably $12.98
My appraisal if you added in branding, social accounts, website: I think you could find a buyer in the $100-750 range

My appraisal was a wholesale appraisal because appraising for end-users is impractical and not viable (not to mention you ended up with the exact same valuation as me). You’re right, no mini-entrepreneur will care about the DAS, but you best believe a unicorn company will take into account whether a domain has black-hat method BL’s or not. Saying that it’ll sell for more if it has a website is also silly since that’s like saying your house will sell for more if it gets revamped lol, it’s just not how valuations work.
