Heyo.
so

I'm thinking of buying some cool shit and stuff for my new setup.

I currently got this stuff atm

RGB / Mechanical Keyboard - $20
RGB Mouse - $20
RGB LED - $15

Other stuff??

Just put, and make sure they're on Ebay.
Get wifi connected RGBs. Paired with alexa makes it so sastifying.

Not sure how to do it.
It’s really easy. It’s worth it when you can activate your own custom mode like russian alert (Starts playing russian anthem and turns lights to flashing red).

I'd rather spend a fair bit for a good mouse and a good keyboard instead of focusing on other stuff for now

A $20 RGB mechanical keyboard? That's not gonna end well. Take my advice and don't cheap out on the mouse and keyboard. Those are the things you will be interacting with.

Keyboard: Never buy cheap gaming keyboards. Either buy normal keyboards or get something of high quality. You will feel the difference between cheap and premium switches. If you're unsure, most stuff with switches in the Cherry MX lineup is good. I am personally using red ones. RGB should not be your first priority. Again, this is something you will touch and use. If you don't believe me, go out in some electronics store that has gaming keyboards. Even if they're not showcased, many keyboards let's you try it through a cutout in the box.

Mouse: Not as important, but I'd still advise you to look at alternatives. If a $20 mouse has RGB, you can be sure that it cheaps out somewhere else.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but mouse and keyboard quality/functionallity is more important than looks.

As much as I agree with this statement, for the most part, I used a $15 mouse off amazon for ages and never thought about upgrading until the other month and purchased a Razer mouse ($80) used it for a little and had to go back to my old mouse. Now this could just be I'm used to the mouse I use and don't want to change or I genuinely like it more. As for keyboards I've gone through about 5 and I can definitely say price really does matter on keyboards as the quality is soooooo noticeable.

The keyboard I'm after is probably the bestest one I've had so far and cheap.
3 years and probably 2.7 year spent on it without issues until i chewed its wire.

The mouse is same issue but getting a wireless one, I have backups tho[DOUBLEPOST=1559599774][/DOUBLEPOST]

That's the thing with old stuff, you use it for so long you get used to it and can't use anything else. Not sure if this is good or bad but I suggest upgrading if it's possible and you pull yourself around to being able to (I couldn't make myself change from my current mouse even though it's $15 so I don't blame you)

In other news I have some cool stuff on my setup and I'm planning to purchase more in the next coming month:
Xbox One controller with charging base
Alexa & Bose soundtouch speaker (only use the Alexa)
Wireless charger for your phone under your mousepad (Depending on how thick & large yours is) EDIT: THIS IS NOT MEANT IN THAT WAY
Elgato stream deck, not really that worth it if you don't stream but just helpful as keybinds for things like discord & music controls
HyperX Quadcast mic, best functioning & looking in my opinion
Monitor wall bracket, looks super clean with 2 monitors with no stands on a setup
Headset holder, personally like the Razer one with chroma at the base
*Personal Favourite* My foot hammock, super cheap and you can get them next-day on Amazon, the best addition to my setup ever as I can adjust the height and it's super comfy to rest my legs on.

Hope this helps, this is everything I have + want for my setup :)

Trust me on the keyboard. You will not notice a massive difference right away, other than the fact that it feels a bit different. However, when you have used it for a couple weeks, you will never want to go back. If you still don't feel comfortable, get one that can be returned within 30 days or so, so you can revert to the old one if needed.

On another note, I'd also advise you to go out and try different switches first hand. You can't get the feel over the internet.
