Sub domain URL redirect

I'm wanting to just re-direct a URL.

dev.domain.com -> MCM page

Is this a Apache code or DNS record?

I'm not sure, possibly DNS? Most hosts should allow you to do so, it might be called Redirect URL or something similar and you should be able to set subdomains as well as the main domain.

No it's not 100% DNS, it's a mix of both worlds.

If you're using cloudflare, you can make a page rule to do so. Otherwise, you'd need either apache or nginx to do a redirect. DNS can only point dev.domain.com to MC-Market's home page, not a specific thread.
