Someone else suggested this, along with spigot's 'contributors' section.
Firstly, I love information and having it readily available. If this information is relevant to your resource, please add it!
However, we are not spigot. We should not adopt things just because spigot does.
Actually, someone else already suggested this, as well as a 'contributors' and this was my response:
Resource Contributors and Supported Versions Section:
This sort of information you can add in your description, if you want it, there's no reason to add a section for it.
This would ruin the uniformity of all the resource pages, as only some types of resources would be able to have a "compatible versions" section, and we don't want to force members to list contributors, especially if it's just themselves.
To be clear.
Unlike spigot, we host a variety of resources categories, some of which don't have anything to do with what server version you're running. Couple that with the fact that you already have the freedom to include that information at the top of your resource description if you so choose, and format it in any way that is relevant to your resource, and there is no added benefit to implementing this. All it effectively adds is a sense of partial uniformity, since some resources which use this would have their versions formatted a certain way all across the category, while others which can't use this, wouldn't have anything.
Personally, I prefer freedom and individuality to partial-uniformity and would rather not excuse the creation of something with no added benefit.
We've implemented this suggestion in one of our old resource updates, just never accepted the suggestion.
I'll move this to accepted now, thanks for the suggestion
