Hello,

Right now we have to create a support ticket each time we want to refund a customer. This delays the refund unnecessarily and makes the customers impatient.
This is an inefficiency that can be removed completely by just letting us refund customers with one click of a button.
There's no reason for the staff to be involved in the refunds.
I assume that staff is there to prevent abuse, is that really necessary? Just create a delay for refunds and ban sellers who abuse the system.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

The reason it's manual at the moment isn't to prevent abuse, it's because of technical limitations relating to our implementation of Tebex Checkout.

Unlike with our old system, with Tebex Checkout buyers can add several products from several creators to their cart and check out in a single transaction. The technical limitation is that right now Tebex Checkout doesn't support partial refunds, and so refunds always need to be for 100% of the transaction. If we allowed creators to refund transactions that they were a part of then theoretically you could refund your buyer for the product they bought from you, and also for a product from an entirely different creator who didn't want to give the money back. Not good!

The interim solution we were considering was to give you a 'Refund' button that only displays if there was only your 1 product in the buyer's cart. But we've been in touch with Tebex about this and they've told us that partial refunds will be coming in Q1 of this year. So there's been no point of developing that temporary stopgap when we're just gonna need to remake it again when the proper functionality we need comes around
