Suggestion Post Farming

Much like agree and disagree ratings in this subforum, posts should not count towards your total either as it is an easy way for people to farm their post count and lower the overall quality of posts for suggestions.

Who cares about post farming? Why's it such a big deal? Like, why do people want to post farm? What's the point?

I don't really want to remove the suggestion message totals from the post count since I do want to gain credibility since it will seem like I am very active and interact with the community on a frequent basis

We only remove the post count from sections where the issue is really bad, like in the forum games section. In the past few months the amount of spam in this forum has dropped from us removing messages and warning users for low quality posts. Also, the sort of users who spam the suggestions forum to up their post count are also the same users who wouldn't realise it's not upping their post count-- spammers usually aren't the brightest!
