[Suggestions] Down with the bots!

It has come to my attention that every time I visit the forum, I see at least one spam thread on the "Recent Threads" list. MC-Market has probably earned its way up to being #1 on the list "to spam".

I personally see this as a downside and believe it should be dealt with, now I just need to make up a way as to how...

Maybe they could add a rule, ou must have 5 proper posts on 5 different threads in order to create a thread

You would of thought it would of been better with the automatic spellcheck. (I'm writing this on an iPhone)

Anyway more on topic I think there should be a 10minute wait before you can post at all. Not just register post and logout so by adding this in it would stop most if not all. Maybe you could put this up.

My suggestion is to make everyone's first 20 posts, so that they have to do a captcha which would stop the bots.

That's what bots use afaik, we have a captcha on signup and they bypass that. What's the point in this.

Moderate everyones first 5, or so posts. This is how other forums stop them.
