Okay, so here's my situation. I got scholarships and grants, enough to pay for my 4 years at Arizona State University. The problem is, to receive these funds I have to be a fulltime student (12 credit hours per semester), which on average (depending on when your classes are) it is about 8 hours a day of school.

The other problem is I currently don't own a car and I will most likely need one (as the apartments are 20 minutes away from school), and I'm not quite sure if shuttles are available from that far away. Anyhow, I don't own a car and my parents cannot afford to buy me a car AND pay my move-in/rent/gas/food until I get a job and become more stable.

What should/can I do?
(I never have and never will look at loans as an option because I don't want to be in debt a single day in my life, I've seen what it's like because my parents have this issue.)

Other insights:
-gas would be about 100-140$ a month
-rent is approximately 750-800 (with parking, utilities, etc)
-food will be approx 100$ a month (or I can make it 30$ with 1$ ramens a day Kappa)
-random/other expenses about 50-100$

If "trapping" is your suggestion, I've considered it and this will be my last option.
(trapping=selling drugs Kappa)

Do you have any assets?

You could find some cheap honda for $400-800 that'll run fine and get the job done.

I mean, you can work? I know people who barely slept to work and go to school and make ends meet.
I have always considered this, the issue is that I have done this during high school (school for 8 hours, work for 9). I did this for about 3 weeks and was skipping school about 3 times a week because my body simply could not. I had to drop 2 classes and ask my manager at work if I could work about 6-7 hours a day. When I had this going on, I was failing 3 classes and as soon as I switched it all up I managed to get myself through and barely graduate.

I just don't want to go through that again and wouldn't wish that on anyone either, it's just too much for the human body.

Also, what do you mean by assets?

you can ewhore for doordashed food or go to public weddings on facebook and get the dough (food, for free) it's weird but free so eh

i suggest buying a bike or looking a craigslist for a cheap/free bike for the commute
working is probably necessary, see if you can find something that works with your schedule, arizona is hot so dog walking may be something people would want.

basically you can work your own hours and charge your own stuff by making shit up as you go.

i STRONGLY suggest getting roommates and designating like a grocery tab where you guys can all pitch in what you can
I don't see myself going to facebook weddings to get food lol. As for the bike, it would be quite a long way there. The school is 20 minutes away (in car), and Phoenix is quite massive so I'd have to take the freeway on a bike to get there.

As for working, it's something I won't be able to avoid, but the issue is I currently can't afford to move up there and get myself to be financially stable as soon as I move in.

I've heard people who trap, and keep it lowkey (aka only about 10 frequent customers to not get caught) make about 500-1000 a week in profit. Hell, this is enough for me to get a new car and live without working and buy myself luxuries. Which is why I'm highly considering it. It would only be until I graduate tho.
