Suggestions for my trailer

Hello, I recently made this.
I am needing some feedback on what I can do to make this better?

This is around my 5th trailer I have made, I started doing this yesterday and I have been improving fast, please leave any suggestions such as maybe effects to use or maybe even suggested preset packs?

did you use after effects?

Maybe change the font type of presents to you something else since it does not fit in as well as maybe have some time that has smooth flow because it seems chaotic

Just by the first 10 seconds I think you should transition the text in differently. I think more of a shrapnel fade in

Shake is not good
Do. not. use. motion. tile. these black rectangles on the screen are absolutely useless, in order to get the cinematic bars, just render the video at the cinematic ratio, the random blurs are meh, could have used the twitch plugin instead, time ramp transitions should have been made with AE, way more polished. the entire transition is blurred, can't see anything, for colors just use Colorista or any MBL effect tbh please. and please put RSMB on the trailer, it's an okay attempt, you just need practice

Yeah I really need to improve with the text. To my knowledge, you can't do much with text in Sony Vegas? If I am wrong can you maybe link me some tutorials or name effects that I could use?

My whole point with this trailer was for it to be chaotic. I did go overboard with the shake at times but I do not know what else effects to use.

Move to AE and use better shake settings, people around here have beautiful s_shake settings, also for the MBL it seems pretty off, you should use Colorista color correction with a custom lut on top of it, the blurs are way overboard to the point it ruined the clips, it's good to sync, but not over-sync , especially not with distracting effects.

RSMB is a plugin for motion blur, an absolute MUST for every video game edit

i do not plan to move onto after effects anytime soon, I chose Sony Vegas because it seemed way easier to learn. I know literally NOTHING about after effects, I have used sony vegas before this to do simple clip cutting and stuff so I at least knew how to import clips and such lol. and as mentioned in the thread, if you can link me any presets, tutorials, cc packs, ANYTHING it will be very appreciated. and as I keep saying too; I know I over did some effects but I didn't know any other effects to use? if you got any ideas let me know!

Will try! Thank you a lot, and sorry for shutting your after effects idea down lol. I have been suggested this a lot and tried for about 30 minutes and I was not as nearly as good as Sony Vegas. So I plan to stay at Vegas until it gets to a point where I get too bored with the options Vegas has to offer. But thank you a lot anyways

trust me, after playing with it a bit, it boosted my creativity and I could finally put my ideas into the edit without being limited, AE looks scary, but it's really not
