Hello,

Recently I been playing vanilla minecraft with a few friends and I been using spigot 1.9 jar and we made a nice world and nether world so far but then I noticed vanilla 1.9 jar has much more and no bugs like in spigot 1.9 jar. So I switch over to the vanilla 1.9 jar then notice the nether world is back to how we first found it? then I reverted back to spigot 1.9 and it was back to normal the nether world map. Any clue why it's doing this

To anyone who tests this there selves. And help me with this issue. We can negotiate something for your effort/time of helping me.

Thank you :)

Spigot saves your nether in the the file "world_nether" when vanilla minecraft saves it under "DIM_1" in the over world folder. Go inside your nether file, and grab the whole "regions" folder. Place it inside the folder called "DIM_1". I hope that helps. If it doesn't, let me know!

No problem! Make sure you grab the whole region file and not only the contents inside.

Replace the regions folder with the one for the vanilla 1.9 nether folder.

You mean take the one from spigot. And replace it with the vanilla 1.9 one?

Nope no luck there. :/ did you test it yourself?
Craftbukkit stores the nether world in a different location, which would be world_nether. However, vanilla Minecraft stores it in "DIM-1" under the overworld folder. Copy the region folder of your world_nether (the entire folder, not the contents) to a folder named "DIM-1" and it should be available for you on the vanilla server.
In other words, world_nether\regions goes to world\DIM-1\regions"

This is the fix I got from Spigot. People say it has worked, but personally I did not test it myself.

Ok cool, I'll try that but let's clear out the table here alittle cause my host and spigot got it confused and I want to make sure you don't get it confused,

I created the world with spigot 1.9, now switching jars to vanilla 1.9 and nether is reset once I switched to vanilla 1.9 jar.

What you just said. Is connecting to what I said correct?

(sorry for any confusion. I'm not very good at these kind of things xD)

Yes, Spigot creates three folders when you start up a server, a world, a world_nether, and world_end. Vanilla's world is all those three combined. Doing what I told you in the previous post should fix your problem.
