How does this impact me now? Pretty sure I'm not being charged everytime I use netflix because I already paid for it, and if they tried to charge me I would call and not pay it

Net Neutrality means an internet that enables and protects free speech. It means that ISPs should provide us with open networks — and shouldn’t block or discriminate against any applications or content that ride over those networks. Just as your phone company shouldn’t decide who you call and what you say on that call, your ISP shouldn’t interfere with the content you view or post online.

It's more of a prioritization issue.
Basically a large company/website like Facebook could pay ISPs lots of money to prioritize traffic to/from Facebook.com, so if there's lots of people on Facebook.com it could make reaching other websites difficult or slower.

We hope that this would not be the case in the near future. That would be devastating for internet users. Websites like google paying to ISPs to get prioritization in their network.

Instead of going to your site, why can't we just visit https://www.battleforthenet.com/
Our approach is a direct filing of your expression of concern to the FCC's Website about Net neutrality. Our micro site only display instructions on how to file your comment regarding net neutrality directly to the governments wrbsite. Our website does not collect information like battleforthenet. Our campaign is direct and we let our visitors file for themselves not like battleforthenet that sends it massively through fcc emails.
