Think It would be nice for people to be able to allow another member to be able to edit their thread.
Example
Me and Menno run a hosting thread in the hosting section, if menno is not online I cannot edit the thread. Now if menno could click a button and assign another user the permission to edit his thread there would be no issue.

This has been suggested before at least twice.
People want to be able to invite people to their thread.
I think it's a good idea.

This is absolutely a great idea.
Produce I recommend adding details cause it took me time to understand what you mean.
I really want this to happen!
I'm on my phone but sure ill write it up a little more clearly when I get home in a couple hours

Would require core modifications of Xenforo which would more than likely cause bugs down the line with updates & what else.

And I don't think the site has the capability(as in team-wise).
They can modify the core but that's as you said not safe. They can build a completly new addon from scratch but that takes a lot of work and money.
