I don't think it is that the host is bad, I think it just takes time for it to settle down. I might be wrong though if I am wrong I am fully for this idea.

The downtime for the website is getting longer each time it goes down leaving less time for actual business deals to be made, if this keeps going on you might lose some of your targetted audience to another forum with a better host and up time.

I don't know what type of hosting mc-market purchased nor do I know who they purchased it from, but they should be able to purchase a better hosting package, or from a better hosting provider.
What I am trying to say is the downtime this week compared to the old host has been worse.

Come on guys, Brent W is doing his best! What do you mean we should've stayed on AWS and CloudFlare business instead of moving hosts (and clearly not being able to do so without close to 2 days of constant downtime for a seemingly simple migration of a XF forum)? That's heresy!

I'm pretty sure it isn't an issue with the host, as it's a well-known one; it's most likely a configuration issue due to the random SSL handshake failures etc.

Switching back to AWS probably wouldn't help in this situation, as Brent would have to reverse the changes he made to CloudFlare, such as Authenticated Origin Pulls. Though, AWS handled scaling, virtual hosts etc.

I think this suggestion thread doesn't help at all. Everyone knows the site runs pretty shit now so threads like these do not really contribute.

"It’s not the host’s problem, it’s just the config" Don't blame the host.
The new host is RSNet.

Then fix the configuration, it isn't the hard to change the configuration you are going to lose a lot of developers if this keep's happening I assist you switch hosts back or/and change the configuration for your website.

To be fair, it's not that simple as just changing a setting and it all working again. Brent will need to do some troubleshooting to find out what's causing the timeouts/SSL handshake errors.

But yes, it's been 4 days; plenty of time to do this.

Yeah but I was just trying to apply for the host to be reconfigured or switched.
