As of posting the site was down for 1.81 hours in the past 24 hours.
31.6 hours in the past week.
130 hours in the past month.
Approximately 24.3% of the downtime this month has been during the past 5 days (since the host migration).
I think centering blame on the host is unreasonable, I don't think there's much trouble finding competent hosts. The problem with the up time is in the administration. The 2 people who are really able to make decisions for the site, Justis, and Mick need to seriously work on finding not 1 person, but a group of people who can active address status issues as they appear. No one person can solve every fire, but a team can.
The site being online is the absolutely fundamental problem and cannot be taken lightly. This downtime problem needs to be fixed fast.
Ah, so that's why literally every single time I try to reply to a thread I get massive error messages followed by a CloudFare screen. That's happened four of the five times I've tried to get online over the past few days.
It's been a while since this suggestion was made, and now that our fabulous Jayson has set things up properly I think we can all agree that our uptime has been pretty excellent for these past 3 months or so.
Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
