SyferFFA - Custom PvP Server

Hey everyone!

Today I'm looking to sell an old custom PvP server that has been sitting on my desktop.

I won't go into much here because I really don't know much about the server as I bought it a while ago and never used it, but I know that the server spawn and map, three 1v1 arenas, and tourney map are all custom, along with the core plugin. The server is running 1.8, but it shouldn't be hard to get a developer to update the core plugin to work with newer versions if you would like (pvp dies at 1.9). I own the domain syferffa.net, which used to be popular and have a playerbase of 10+, but has been turned off for a year. I can figure out how to transfer that if you're interested, but if you would like to change the name of the server then I'll just let it expire (it expires in a few days). I believe the server used to be called PuffinPvP, but when the name was changed or the servers merged or whatever happened, this was never changed. I didn't notice it until you mentioned it, I will fix that in the plugin config.

Edit: I could not find the plugin that handles the scoreboard, it must be ran by a custom one. A developer would need to fix that.

What's that? I admit that it needs some work and isn't complete, that's why I set the BIN at $55. But I think that the custom builds and plugin make it worth what I'm asking.

Oh, do I need permission? The server was sold to me, I thought I had ownership to it and could do with it as I please. Would you happen to know the developer?

Yes, PlugDev , I believe an owner actually went back his back and sold the server without his permission, he will respond once he is online.

It is true, about 1 year ago I developed SyferFFA and PuffinPvP. So, let me explain a little. I coded PuffinPvP for a friend, he got NoHacksJustPing on and spiked the playerbase. With that peak, he sold it for good money (smart). After that, we decided to open a server together. I would code and set-up everything, and he would pay or it and hire staff - I was the developer owner, and he was the manager owner. The server was named SyferFFA. The server did well considering we didn't post anywhere or get any large youtubers on (which we had planned and arranged). Syfer averaged around 20-30 players daily on peak hours (it was a range of hours, not just 1 or 2). I kept on adding new features and option to the server, players loved it! Almost every day, players would message me asking to code them a similar plugin for $100, but I declined every offer as I wanted to focus on one project only (Syfer). Suddenly, my friend and co-owner sold the domain and files to someone: Veinte. I was very angry as I didn't want anyone to have my custom coded syfer plugin (syfer ran on like 3 plugins: PEX, Syfer-FFA [my custom plugin], and Holographic Displays). It turns out, my co-owner sold him the domain (syferffa.net) and the PuffinPvP files (it was a scam) - I was happy that my syfer plugin didn't get sold but I had to deal with the mess as my co-owner wouldn't talk to Veinte anymore - blocked him on skype.

So, technically, Veinte has permission to sell the syfer domain and puffin files as the seller (my co-owner) sold the rights to him. I am not going to stand in his way for the following reasons:

1. I have become a more advanced developer since last year and I don't care so much for my old projects (even though they were amazing at the time).
2. Veinte has all rights to the things he's selling in this thread.
3. Veinte is a great guy. When I was dealing with him about 1 year ago, he was easy going and gave me no issues.

So, good luck with your sale Veinte and I hope you have a great holiday season! Vouch for Veinte.

Thank you very much Rob. I remember you, it was very weird at the time. Sorry about what your co-owner did, it really sucks and I remember your disappointment in the Skype call when we first pieced together what happened. You were a great person to work with, and I really respect that you're being so nice and professional about this.

I feel that the server is worth what I'm asking for it. If you upgrade it to newer versions it has lots of potential: custom core plugin with many features, custom maps, everything ready to go.
