I am considering beginning a YT channel, with a focus on hardcore survival using Purpur 1.21.4.
I am hoping to prevent some of the drama by using a client mod (GUI Clock) to always display the date and time on the screen and a second channel to upload all of the footage.
This will also alleviate the need to overlay the day count during editing.
The problem is, time is counted independently for the Nether and The End vs. the Overworld.
Also, it would be very confusing if the time for the Nether and The End is different than the overworld.
I tried using Keep Chunks, which will always keep a chunk loaded in the Nether and The End, but since it takes a moment for the plugin to be loaded time gradually desyncs more and more each time the server is started/restarted.
You are the experts, but I suspect maybe the best solution is having a plugin that will get the time (in ticks) of the Overworld during startup and set this as the time for the Nether and The End.
Since at least 1 chunk in the Nether and The End will get loaded during startup, maybe syncing the time during startup is sufficient. (I am speculating...again, you are the experts).
Idk, but it may be wise to resync the times periodically, or when accessing the respective portals (but this must occur before my player enters the other dimensions so the time and day on screen doesn't look edited or altered).

Yes it's YouTube, so I know preventing all drama is impossible and the dramatically toxic viewers will not stop until they find something to falsely accuse me of....but at least this will alleviate one excuse and also make things less confusing if the time and day are not changing when changing dimensions.
