High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Maybe ask a different question per kid who claims he's a sysa?

But really it's just to verify if they're real system administrators or not.

Well, I would disable not needed services, update packages, close not needed ports, create different partitions (one for the root user and another one for the rest of the users), setup firewall (for example firewalld on Centos7), use SSH and SFTP instead of FTP, leave SELinux on, update the passwords to strong ones... it really depends on what you are going to do with the server really but these are the very basics.

Like which?
Depends on what you are going to do, but in general you shouldn't have mysql, php, web servers like apache or nginx, or any other services which connect to the Internet if you aren't going to use them.[DOUBLEPOST=1530912768][/DOUBLEPOST]
And I QUOTE "update the passwords to strong ones" you clearly have no idea what you are doing I would recommend doing some research and more and this is not trashing this is me simply just telling you said something wrong
Whatever, good luck with your clients with that aggressive attitude
