Hi there.

I may be new to the forums and I am slowly adjusting, as of now I have decided to do another job. I am going to do system administration job and only 1 vouch copy is available which will only go to the highest reputed user. Anyway, let's get to the services I am going to offer:

Server security: 10$

Description: Depending on your server configurations, I am going to improve your server's security as per my experience the following implementations would be implemented if required:

1. Setup a firewall: Firewall can actually be used to filter out bad IPs which either try to ddos/dos your server, try brute-force attacks on your default root user. The next point is going to surely stop brute-force attacks.

2. Setup SSH keys: SSH keys will not require you to enter your password, in order words you just use a file with a certain passphrase that only you know to login in your server.

3. Enable SSH login for a specific user: Let's say you can only allow login from a specific user and IP.

4. Change the default SSH port OR use a port sequence: Even though the changing process of default SSH port would not help much but in some cases it is helpful. The port sequence is actually really secure, for example let's say you have set three ports: 500, 600, 700 now you have to login using 500, 600 and 700 in order to verify yourself to the Firewall.

5. Prevent IP spoofing of your server: In simple terms, this will prevent your server's IP from being spoofed.

There are a lot of ways I can secure your server, these are just the examples. Onto the next services.
