TabAPI | 1.8x - 1.16x

Hey MCM,

Just wondering if anyone knows a TabAPI that supports 1.8 through 1.16.5 - I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Please note I'm looking for an API, NOT a plugin.

Just control of the tab - headers / footers / options to put players in the main element of the tablist, or just put text

I assume you're just looking for a standardized interface which will handle sending the correct packets for whatever server version you're using then, right?

Not sure if one exists. Even if one does, it's probably not all that. Pretty sure there's a youtube video on something like this, use the packets displayed in that video. Try making your own. If all u want to do is add headers/footers and text, it's not too hard to do. Modifying playernames in the list can be done with spigot api.

I'm aware it can be done, I was just wondering if there was one that already exists rather than me need to make one. Would rather have one that's been tested and optimised than have to code one that could potentially have issues, if you see what I mean.

You likely have already looked around on Google for a library that fits these needs to no avail. I'll open up a repository on my GitHub and put together something that meets your specifications. Pinging this thread later when I finish.
