Take MCM to another Level - Official MCM dubtrack

Greetings MCM,


Many of you like myself, browse this forum and site in general for hours upon hours a day. Sometimes we even find ourselves bored and spamming that refresh button to see if a good thread will appear somewhere.


With that said I would like to suggest MCM getting a Dubtrack. This can be embedded into the website and allows for users to share their favorite music and listen to others.

I would also suggest putting it under the "chat" page and restricting it entirely to Premium and Supreme members.

Why not just use Plug instead? Nicer & more user friendly layout, not to mention a lot more people probably use it already. It would be cool to see an "official" plug, or even possibly embedded somewhere on the site.

Only thing you need to take to another level are your Semi's . Jokes aside, I like the idea and I know were you are coming from as I often do the same and refresh a whole bunch or look at old threads.

Because things done by a community are much more fun and interesting.

This wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to setup. ^^

It is still pointless and a waste of time. There's so much other things that can be done to this forum to positively improve it rather than embedding an external music website so you don't have to ever leave MCM to do anything.

Completely unnecessary in my eyes. It'd be somewhat useful if we were a music forum.

Also, it definitely won't appeal the majority to constantly have that hanging around.

It's not even if I wanted to. It decreases loading speeds of the homepage (which are crucial for SEO), I have to properly align it and make it fit in the template aswell which is just a lot of work for such a (imo) stupid feature.

No offense, but the majority of y'all have a horrible taste in music, and I'd rather get off my lazy butt and open a new tab than to listen to the same crappy music on MCM.
I'm sure many of you would feel the same way about me and my music.
Taste just varies so much.

This is why so few people use plug.dj and those who do are of the type that listen to the same style of music.
Because nobody wants to listen to the music other people are listening to, and nobody feels like seeing the music they like be crapped on.

Add that onto what bebos and Tyler and others have said, and not only is it a waste, but it's also a really bad idea that will only decrease the quality of our forums, if anything.

If this doesn't autoplay or something annoying like that then I'd be OK with it, but it sounds pretty unprofessional for a business site.

Yeah personally my views on this is that it's a professional business site, for which users can sell things and offer services, not listen to what music other people like.
