Pointless having a service of theirs being advertised with flashy colors when they're banned.

What if I paid someone $5 to keep my ad in their signature for 6 months say. If that person got banned after two, they technically would have scammed me if they dont refund the money (Which is unlikely, if they're already banned). So by removing their signature they would have been able to scam one more person. (Or more, if they have several ads in their signature).

But thats just one case, overall removing them could be a good idea. Since they are still profiting from people following links in their signature even after been banned. (If the link say links to their website etc).

How about this? If it's not too difficult, simply break all outgoing links in a signature. Any links that do not lead to this site, I mean.
That way, someone paying to advertise their thread in a signature still gets the sig, while links to sites which banned members profit from are removed.

I don't see why you would want a banned member to condone your business really, don't think it looks too great.
