I am one of the two owners of Tapple alongside TapL, a well-established 1.8x PvP/UHC server that had just reached its 1 year anniversary of opening as of a couple weeks ago.
We are in need of builders who are willing to be apart of a team and work together on various build projects dependent on whatever the server's plans may be.
Basic Requirements
» Are the age of 13 or older
» Have a microphone to communicate with other builders on the team
» Have a decent amount of build experience, whether that being a commissions team, server, etc.
» Are able to exert maturity whenever on the server or with the build team
Upon meeting the requirements, there is a further application process you need to go through.
Other Details
Membership & Workload
Please understand that we are not looking for temporary or short-term builders (commissioners), we are looking for people to be a part of a team long-term,
willing to communicate well with each other to finish and complete projects (half of the projects are done together, half of them can be done by yourself).
That being said, the workload placed upon you is entirely your choice. You may choose to take on many projects as you can vs. the bare minimum.
With this in mind, we also don't require our builders to strictly be apart of our build team and no other obligations. You may be in as many other build teams as
you would like, as long as your other obligations don't intrude on your priorities with our build team.
Payment Information
We pay our builders based on project completion. The payment varies depending on the deadline we set, how big the project is, and if it is a group project or not.
The rough ranges of project payment is around $15-$50.
For our Practice PvP maps, it is currently $15/map, which are 50x50 - 75x75 PvP maps - examples
For our Border Battles gamemode maps, it is currently $35/map, which are 250x250 - 300x300 sky island maps - examples
For larger group projects payment is split across the board to all contributors, with a $200-$250 pool.
Payments will be distributed at the end of each month as a combined total.
All in all, we understand for builders that time is of the essence. Therefore, how much you achieve (and can earn) is for the most part is entirely in your hands.
Leadership Positions
There are currently leadership positions available, however they may not be directly applied for. Our Head Builder position can be earned through going above and beyond
on our team, being active, being a good builder, and communicating well.
Head Builders have the opportunity to earn more money as they manage the team and create documents and guidelines.
