Terraforming Section

I think that we can all agree that Custom Minecraft Worlds / Terraforming community has been increasing over the past couple of months or so. I think that Mc-Market should have a sub- section under build called 'Terraforming' where all of us 'Terraformers' can share our work and sell it or someone can request a custom world.

He's probably the most well-known worldpainter out there, or at least should be by now, for anyone involved in the business.
Anyway, it's funny how you're condemning an entire group of people without even showing off the slightest bit of skill in worldpainter. I'll concede there's plenty of worldpainters on here that are mere beginners, but seriously, to call an entire specialization a joke?
I could easily call the entire hand-drawn graphics section a joke, because I personally know people that can do it 100x better. does that make them an actual joke? nope.

PS: please do show me some of your mad worldpainting skills in PM sometime.

Terraforming should not be a completely separate skill. All builders should be able to do terrain and vice versa.

bullshit. What gives you the right to decide that anyway? Some people specialize in terraforming. Of course, every last one of them has some basic building skill. Anyone does. but just because some of them can't build more than a basic house does not make them a joke.

I'm on your side but I do think you guys should take it to PMs as a suggestion thread is nowhere to argue about something other than the suggestion it self. It seems that Ajdin will be making a tag for it anyways. Can't wait for that to be done .

I completely agree with this. Recently I had to find a Terreformer and it was hell to look through the building section. I think terreformimg has gotten big/needed enough for its own section, or at least it's own subsection.

As for Croc I don't doubt you can "pump out" a map in thirty minutes. I don't doubt I can "pump out" a server setup in 30 minutes. Just because you can do it fast does not mean it looks good. Quality terrain is really difficult to do, but looks amazing. Basic terrain is quick and easy, but it looks terrible.

If you still don't think terreformimg is worth it, I would suggest that you go watch a time lapse.

I think the "terraforming" tag suggested by bebos is a simpler version that still has all desired effects.

Sorry for the late response, but in my opinion and others, terraforming is way different from building, they both take skill to do but from the outcome of the project that youre doing (build and terraforming) and then you sell it on mcm. It tends to not get alot of attention because most new people think builds are for builds. But people can put terraforming into it. What im getting at is can you possibly put a sub forum under builds named terraforming or something.
