I have learned over the past week of how Mc-Market worlds and the secrey hierarchy that underlies in many account sales and posts (specifically minecraft accounts). Many new users, myself included, come to Mc-Market to find cool new minecraft accounts with custom names. I have recently just bought 3 accounts off of Mc-Market users and it has defintaly given me some insight as to how to go about buying accounts in the best manner.

I would like to provide a list of steps and security checks that I strongly suggest users following and taking notice of because buying accounts, as this is extremely important to ensuring a smooth transaction. Now I know that many, if not most, of this community has absolutely no idea who I am and will consider this article to be useless. But please, bear with me, my post could assist a plethora of players who are looking for new accounts and don't know who to do deals with

Let's dive right into the steps and checks of how to get you a secure and safe account.
Checks Before Purchase;
1. The seller and his/her reputation is important. This can give you some insight as to who to purchase from and who may not be a legit user. Always check a players profile to make sure that they have a decent reputation and preferably are vouched by many users.
If the player is shady or has a not so nice reputation - Use a middle man of YOUR choice
Side Note: This information can be found by clicking "Profile Page" under the profile pop up window
2: Make sure the seller owns the account. This is extremely important as to ensure that you are buying from somebody legit and who actually has the account. They should have the account registered with their McM profile. An alternative would be asking them to log onto a certain server for you.
3. If somebody adds you on skype claiming to be the seller, confirm this with the profile who you are purchasing from over McM Private Conversation.
I've come across 2 Impersonaters on skype who's names are "mcsellerproz" and "live:9d86e476b8549c3d"
4. If you are a new user, This next step may be uncomfortable and risky but It's the only way for you to gain reputation and Vouches. You MUST pay first for the account if you are not using a middle man. If not, you will be disregarded as a scam account.
5. Search seller profiles for any "DeVouch" and scam reportings.
Steps for buying an account;
1. Find a thread under the applicable sub forum of the type of account you want.
2. Locate a username that you really, really like. Many of accounts are great but there expensive, only spend money on accountants u really like.
3. Make sure to read the *entire* article and notice the Migration Dates, Previous Owners, Trans ID, and BIN. Be vigillent in getting your information correct
4. Take note of the minimum bid and BIN value. If you are not aware of what BIN means, it means "Buy It Now". This is the value that the player would sell you the account for assuming the deal was immediate.
5. DO NOT LOWBALL. (Offer very low, under value, bids). If you don't have the money to bid what they are asking for, don't bother. It really isn't good for your reputation.
6. Contact the seller over PM or skype and arrange a deal. Remember to offer to go first, so you don't seem shady.
7. Many sellers seek payment in the form of bitcoin or PayPal Friends and Family. This is the most secure payment method.
8. Provide the seller with an unused and SECURE email address to change the account to BEFORE you send the money.
9. Once the transaction is complete, Vouch for the seller and change all account information.
