I already did an extensive background check on the build the first time I found this map, because it seemed familiar. It came up empty though, so it seems fine so far.

I believe you, you changed your icon, but you're on a different account, this account has only been on the site since monday, and your other account is older. You need to contact staff through a support request to sort out the issues with the other account, which will result in one account being banned so you can use the other. If you don't, and they find you without something like that open, you'll get warning points for alting.

As for how to prove you built something, in the future you should take a few pics while building something, before its finished. Too late for this one, obviously, just a note for the future
