It is an addictive drug with side effects. I used it for a long time when I was 16 a bit ago and it really fucks you up if you have actual responsibilities in your life. It Lowers your iq and can cause anxiety if you withdrawal while addicted.

Definitely fucked up your IQ if you think that.

Wanna link yours? McM Edgy Kid or A Non Profit organization with sources linked below

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/01/twins-study-finds-no-evidence-marijuana-lowers-iq-teens (http://jop.sagepub.com/content/early/2016/01/06/0269881115622241.abstract)

https://www.drugabuse.gov/news-even...tions-role-marijuana-in-teen-users-iq-decline
(Notice how the article states "marijuana use appeared to be associated with IQ decline not by itself, but because it is linked to other substance use."

https://www.apa.org/monitor/2015/11/marijuana-brain.aspx (Oh look, also stated that the drop was also linked with other factors)

https://www.webmd.com/stroke/news/20181019/stroke-rates-higher-among-pot-users#1 (In addition, the researchers don't know if the risk is tied to smoking marijuana or ingesting it in other ways, and whether it depends on the amount of the drug used or if it is due to other psychoactive ingredients mixed in with the marijuana.)

That article you linked has very few "facts" and is more opinionated than a Feminazi that just came out of their Gender Studies class.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317104.php (States it is not possible to form a conclusive link)[DOUBLEPOST=1542862883][/DOUBLEPOST]

Also, a non profit org? I doubt many/if any at all really did ANY extensive research on that.
Also, note that Accumulating evidence suggests that long-term, heavy cannabis use may cause enduring neuropsychological impairment—impairment that persists beyond the period of acute intoxication

That's to be expected with ANY drug. Abuse it, it'll abuse you.
Recreational use is more than fine.

It’s still a developing field, so it’s still being tested.

That doesn't back either of our arguments, but yes. It is still ongoing active studies and conflicting studies are published fairly often. It depends who you go to, what you're asking, how you're asking.

As I stated earlier: If you abuse ANYTHING, it'll abuse you. Using it responsibly is more than alright, and even my own doctors would like to put me on marijuana if I'd like to (or could afford it) to get me to a healthy weight.

Added some more to that post. Also I do agree that medical marijuana for heart rate / blood pressure or weight and other medical uses is perfectly ok. I’m saying there should be restrictions on recreational use

Then you should also note how it stated adolescence. Anything taken during adolescence will impact you in adulthood in some fashion. Also... that article didn't link any form of study, didn't give reference to anything. It vaguely states "A much-publicized report"

My point still stands. Recreational use, in moderation, is more than alright, as long as you do it responsibly and appropriately. Like with any drug, wait until 18 or 21 before being allowed to. You brain is closer to its final stages of development than when you're at 15.

Yes. as stated by the Canadian government, if you smoke marijuana underage it can have negative impacts on your undeveloped brain.[DOUBLEPOST=1542889323][/DOUBLEPOST]
Just saying people should use it in moderation doesn’t mean they will. As stated here (https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/addiction/recreational-marijuana-faq) it states that without a doubt marijuana is addictive and negative side effects in adults and teens. I would love to see recreational use me legal and used in moderation but in general I think it’s to addictive for that.

Anyways I’m done I gotta sleep, I had fun
Kiddo you're using WebMD? Grow up LOL

1) I'm against it. There are other ways even if marijuana is supposedly the best treatment. I don't personally like drugs but I don't have anything against people who do smoke marijuana. I just don't think it should be legalized freely, medical at most.

2) I can't really answer this question. I don't know anyone that uses marijuana for personal/medical issues.

3) I don't smoke and never will. I don't have anything against people who do. Just don't do it right in my face ya know? :p
