So this has been a hot-topic on here. What do you think about it?

Here is my personal take on it,
I believe edating is for those without the confidence to get rejected. However, the fact of the matter is that getting rejected is just part of dating. Online, if you get rejected you can drop them off the face of the planet never to see them again. It's all a matter of having the balls to have someone say no to you, to take it and move on.

People who edate could of done it for various of reasons. My stance is that it is perfectly okay! Some people are more into emotional dating and can sometimes not find the right person if they're in a small town or are really different. Like there are a lot of situations, but I don't find it weird at all. It does not harm anyone and isn't really bad. Like I know some of my friends have edated because they are teens and afraid of being let down. For some reason a shit load of kids have anxiety now, so it's really hard for some people, and then having to see them literally every day, so being able to turn them off whenever is sort of weird, but it's okay I guess. I have also known some people who move sometimes twice a year, so if they ever meet someone they can't guarentee they'll ever see them again. I've known 3 people with that situation who resorted to that. Like, I know it may look weird, but sometimes there are no other choices for people to find someone they could truely care for. Why does it matter? It's not like anyone who doesn't edate should have an opinion on online relationships of others' anyway. That's like taking to the media saying that Bill Gates made out with Steve Jobs (who, yes, I know is dead)... it's like, who tf cares?

I find edating strange. I have no opinion either way. However ppl like Dexonic that edate are fucking strange and shouldn't be allowed to be on the internet. But ive met tons of well adjusted people who edated. So it has its good and bad sides.

While I regret this. I had known him for a year ( business related ) before that issue. He had edated several times before so I think I can clearly say he did edate.
