Alright, so recently a lot of jokes have been circulating throughout the community. One of these major ones being jokes about being below the age that is required to use this forum which is 13. It currently has resulted in two bans one for me as well as one for bleed. After the day I had to wait and a failed attempt to appeal this punishment I decided to to point out the fundamental issue with the staff team and this site in its own right.
Firstly, one of the major issues is the staff team. Obviously you have used this site on a constant basis or even hop on once and a while whilst staff are on there is a huge issue. Mick is extremely inactive, anybody who disagrees with this is utterly incompetent and most likely doesn’t use the site. @Thebaum is currently a very controversial topic concerning his negative reputations etc. Already after a recent recruitment of multiple staff to the team three staff have been demoted for inactivity one of them being a scam resolver. The scam reports are still two months back this is ridiculous other sites have the ability to have little no backlog and a much quicker and faster response. This though most people already know and it creates a huge dislike of the forum. One of the major issues though is not that of the inactivity but the lack of a community based forum. We have a shoutbox which surprisingly is quite active throughout popular North American time zones, most people know each other and interact via other apps such as telegram and discord with other users. But what is wrong you may ask if MC-Market can tick all those checkboxes? It’s the lack of community based STAFF. I do like a couple staff and don’t have hard feelings considering they have dealt with my support requests in a timely fashion. But the fact a simple joke resulted in a ban for two users one for a day and the other three years is both outrageous and disgusting. I had persidid to do what it had said as I believe personally that the ban was false and create a support request. I did so under the name VapeBigBoy . Once I created the account, I created a support ticket. In this ticket I offered to give sufficient proof (legal identification) that I am over the age of 13. This was then denied, Lotus then answered it with this message: https://gyazo.com/e00bf2cb78e5a44519679d3494fe762f, the support ticket itself has 19 views even after I responded with a offer to give sufficient proof of my age. In one of Lotus’s response in a public he says this http://prntscr.com/ly34f9, in this he says that if they believe your jokes for any reason, could be due to a number of possible factors. The issue with this is that it is all up to interpretation, when I had originally gone into the shoutbox making a joke about me turning 13 on the 21st of December and I wanted people to help me because I was confused about puberty is a blatant joke. On multiple occasions people had made jokes and had been instead of banned, kicked, Lonely had as well as a number of others whos @’s I can’t remember. In the American Judicial system the entire concept is a person is not guilty till proven so. Okay maybe I did say I was underage. Though this is true I do not see why they have the idea that somehow you can’t appeal. As I said above I had offered legal identification my biometric citizen permit to be exact. This is not just a issue with the system for this particular punishment but in this case what I would consider staff abusing. I even offered to do the opposite of what you do in the United States but do in the United Kingdom which is prove that you are not guilty. Which I offered to do so but to no avail. We as users of this forum sit on the edge of a breakdown of morale standards and rules that not just users like me and those users that are reading this but that of staff. In writing this I would like to point out the other victim of this horrible abuse of power on the side of the staff on MC-Market bleed . He had made a joke about being 10 years of age, and like me offered to give proof. And like my attempt to no avail. Though this is true he is banned for the next three years but at the rate that this site is going it will not last three users under the staff and ownership team. I believe rightfully so that he should be unbanned and a more distinct punishment and rule to these particular cases.
