Everything is relative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You could be a famous actor, a farmer, an Indian or even EyesOfRinn and you'll end up dead no matter what. So it doesn't matter what you do, your life is temporary anyways and so is the human race and the earth.
For what "life" concerns: in my opinion we're just stupid for not living our lives like normal animals, but instead make everything complex and controlled.
Because the only true instinctive goals of a species are to reproduce, evolve and not die out. But if humans keep developing new medecins we will never evolve because the weak will survive as well and reproduce too. Infact, we're more likely stagnating instead of evolving.
We'll probably also die out soon enough because we're destroying the environment of what could be considered our ideal living circumstances.
