On one fine Friday afternoon, ya boy Liam got himself a new PSU. The PSU was a small factor PSU, so I had to buy extension cables as I was building it in an ATX case. [The SF was on a really good deal, so the equivalent but in an ATX would be more expensive than SF + extension cables).

Anyway, I did it all. Got the extension set and... More than half of the cables are missing the pin connectors. I spent all afternoon having to find an improvised plan to use the PSU.

Next problem? My dog has a tendency to walk right in front of you or make it her mission to be in your way. I love dogs and all, but I'm not her friend after this. When I was moving the computer from the workstation to my desk, she walked in front of me, I tripped over her, I recovered but dropped my computer on the floor. The motherboard is damaged and the case has a massive dent in it now. Admittedly I'm surprised the entire computer is still working.

Not only that, but I left my phone on the floor there because I was doing some quick testing. My bad for that because I could've slipped on it, but I didn't. Instead? My computer landed directly on my phone. It didn't survive. It's irreparable.

So, got a new case, new motherboard and a new phone for around £450; at least my computer's silent now. I can not hear a thing thanks to the new PSU. Or maybe I've just raged myself to deafness.

Quote of the day? "fuck."

Anyway. How's your Fridays been?
