The new "Rep" System!

I had an idea, of this while I was browsing the casual "ratings as rep is bad omg" threads.

So you could request users to rate your seller experience, were they are obligated to give you a 1-5 Star Rating and write a short review of their experience with you.
And then maybe a "Satisfied with user" or "Not satisfied with user" button at the end. And it would display somewhere on someones account "80% Satisfied (8/10)" etc (8/10 would be how many satisfied out of total amount of dealt with users).
And then there could be a page/on the profile pages were you could read the obligated review that has to consist of like atleast 30 words etc?

Leave me some feedback on this idea.

No this isn't similar at all. This is ALOT simpler to lookup someones vouches & the "8/10" example I used could replace the current Ratings: +(number) and show publicly how satisfied people are with you. etc

Same thing... Almost satisfaction is how good the deal went... People already do this... "Vouch! Deal went smooth! +1"

Apposing what Style has said, I think the problem is not with the idea.
The idea, I actually like.
We just haven't properly implemented it.
Nobody uses the current vouch system, because it's a pain in the arse to work with, and isn't really singled out as MCM's "Vouch system"... I agree when he says, "Nobody cares".

If there were to be a new vouch system (No matter what it is), it would have to be easy to locate, and easy to use, for the person being vouched, the person doing the vouching, and the people looking at past vouches.

That is also where the problem lies...
MCM doesn't have any developers, really...
This would take an experienced developer, a lot of time, and likely a lot of money.
We just don't have the people to implement this currently, as far as I am aware.

A great idea, hopefully we can get a proper vouch system soon.
Whether it be this one or something else...
I just don't think it's possible at the moment.

I think the idea would fix most of the issues with the current system.
And lets be real here, MCM makes Bank for Mick. He could certainly spend some of the money on a addon like this that would improve the site incredibly much. I think it could be implemented if Mick really wanted it to.

LOL, Mc-M does not make bank, It pisses me off that people suggest ideas and they don't think it thru at all... Like the time,money..
