The sale of Accounts & Licenses

We know that not so recently MC-Market implemented new restrictions into the sale of Minecraft Accounts as this strictly violates the terms of service for Mojang AB.

Since MC-Market is now enforcing these changes why are they allowing the sale of accounts and licenses for other games/programs that currently do not allow the sale of their contents.

MC-Market allows the sale of...
- Fortnite Accounts (violates tos)
- Discord Servers (violates tos)
- Discord Subscriptions (Nitro and Boosts) (violates tos)

Please note that these violate their terms of service which apparently MC-Market
currently chooses to ignore and will continue to allow until action is taken against them.

Not to compare but would you allow someone to break the law until you become complicit.
As it appears to me that MCM is complicit in the sale of these items.

I'm aware a similar suggestion was made more than 6 months ago but nothing has been changed since then and the previous suggestion was denied. I just wish to reiterate the importance of protecting sellers and buyers of MC-Market.

I'd love to see this suggestion implemented since most Discord Nitro/Boosts are obtained either through an illegal method/exploitation.
Mick in his previous announcements said that he'll be removing a lot of sections that violate the TOS and I feel that this would be in the right step forward.
I don't have enough knowledge on Fortnite but from person experience, the Discord Boosts & Nitro market is horrible.

Furthermore, it's not about me, never has been. It's about the content MC-Market currently allows and about moving into the right direction, regardless if I have violated those terms. There's nothing I can do about it now except to accept the fact it shouldn't happen again.

If it calls for redemption, I shall do all that I can do seek it. Good will and what not.

There are MANY, and I say many people who are active on this site exclusively for these very markets. Although I cannot speak for Fortnite, Discord servers and Discord Nitros/Boosts should be kept alive as it's a very important sector of MCM.

Here are my thoughts and opinions, I'd love to hear what you have to say about it if you wish to oppose any points.

Discord Nitro and Boosts

• Although I do agree, Nitro and Boosts are usually obtained through illegal means, I've been in the market long enough to know this for a fact, I've been part of it as well. Most of these are illegal and I do not wish for them to continue, but there are a few that do not illegally obtain them.
  
  
• A suggestion for a way to reform this is to enforce a reputation system where the seller must provide proof of legality before opening up a shop. It could be to staff only if the method is private, or it might just be a terrible idea.
  
  
• All in all, the market is horrible, but it's a market that a lot of people use nonetheless and will keep using. Removing this entirely could be a bad idea.

Discord Servers

• Yes, it's against discord ToS, but they don't necessarily care unless the server has perks like discord partnership and such. I have not once seen this part of the ToS enforced by discord, and I don't think it's properly enforceable.
  
  
• Trading and flipping Discord servers is a massive market, as well as the advertisement servers. If the sale of Discord servers is banned, the market for selling server advertisements would also need to be banned according to ToS. This would mean that means of advertising would be severely reduced on the forums, and would make a lot of people quit using the site.

All in all, banning these would have a very large impact on the site, as you would be removing two sub-categories, and making hundreds of people stop actively using the site.

I'm against these bans, but I'm open to any other suggestions people may have.

If it means members use other competitor platforms to sell such things so be it.
If it was up to me, I'd rather go legit than retain members who abuse and violate third party terms.

MC-Market houses a lot of forums that are actively used and won't be as much damage as you proposed.

Cause it's against TOS, that's why mojang took action. Discord can do it aswell and they would have to remove it. Yeah i don't really care anymore, I want it all removed cause they removed mc accounts lol. They basically killed my service.

You are actually killing your service more ? Fortnite account sales is a thing for more than 2-3 years, the company never took action against any websites or community sites? About discord, discord always took actions against any members that violate their TOS. Their TOS only represents inside the Plattform and not outside.

There were even YouTube videos about Fortnite Sales and got more than 1 million views, if Fortnite company really cared, they would shut down more than 1000 websites and YouTube channels. I still disagree about the removal from those sections

To start off, as a previous nitro seller I can tell you that they go through checks and force you to give them your methods or they take down your thread. Banned can vouch for this as he asked me that a while back, and he was able to say that I do indeed get it through legit means. But the main thing is that with mc accounts it was due to lawsuits, not being the moral police. But now that we are moral police, we should be suspending people when they have a paypal under 18, which means that almost all of us would end up losing revenue. You would also have to ban the selling of companies where a discord is transferred, as that could be seen bad in the eyes of discord. According to paypal selling goods like plugins and builds are also against the tos, so say good bye to 50% of revenue! In theory I get that ideally we could have a forum where not breaking tos' would be sustainable. But there is no reason, outside of lawsuits, that we should ban certain things, and not ban the things that keep this site alive when they break the tos.

This is my point ! Exactly what I meant. Likely, lets shut down the website Or move on ? My point is, everyone is responsible for themselves, the website does not hold any responsibilities. Users on discord are getting punished when they don't respect discord itself (discord.com/guidelines). I don't know why people are mainly targeting for fortnite and discord sales, many people are also selling other services like steam accounts, instagram, facebook, twitch, spotify or LOL accounts ? Why no one talks about them?
