The time I had anesthesia. [Scary Story]

Hello my name is Gavin.

I am going to be talking about the time I had anesthesia, if you do not know what this is here is some background on it.
When you are put under for a surgery, but you are actually not unconscious, you are still awake and can feel everything they are doing to you.
So I was having my tonsils taken out, if you do not what a tonsil is, here is a picture :

Anyways, I was getting them removed, because sometimes people's tonsils get to big to actually stay in, to a point where you can not breathe.
So I was going into the room, it was a really bright room, completely white.
They put a mask over me, and I was instantly knocked out from it.
So they started, and it was fine, but after a while of silence, it appeared again, but they were still doing things to me. All of a sudden pains indescribable of them tearing open parts in my mouth.
I couldn't do anything I was punching the covers, but only in my head I was, nobody else could help me.
I felt all the blood in my mouth, all the burning taste of my skin, and flesh.
And then I just woke up, and I started crying (given I was 8.)
This was the worst experience in my life, and only a certain few amount of people have this issue when in surgery.

I just realized how lucky I am for when i was put on anesthesia and just slowly fell asleep. They put mine with IV but they also gave me an oxygen mask, to open an impacted tooth on the top of my gum. I woke up high

Your body was too strong for the anaesthestic and they should've given you a stronger dose tbh. The gas stuff (most likely sevoflurane or isoflurane or maybe nitrous oxide) isn't really strong enough in general anyways. Either way, it must have been scary af like damn

I couldn't imagine what happened and what that felt like, must've been horrible. You're good now though, right? Please? Now you also got me scared to get mine removed
