This has annoyed me for quite some time but Mick told me it's big enough of a deal to fix.
Or he said he'd contact the developer. I don't quite remember.

We must properly educate Mick on how important it is to make the x button on a 3 second long popup notification work.
Agreed.

Anyway, I used to think I just missed the X but after a while, I started realizing that I'm not just bad at clicking, but it's just broken.
I didn't think it was too big of an issue, because either the dev fixes it, or we fix it and have to fix it everytime it gets updated.

It is actually quite annoying and people don't really think such small things would be annoying. But small changes can make big differences in the long run and I doubt it'd be hard to fix :tup:

I hope this is fixed :)

Nevermind my education levels are at an all-time-low it seems!

With XF2 we're planning on completely removing this popup for alerts as the addon hasn't been ported over to XF2. If users really hate this change we'll have to custom develop something, but honestly I reckon that people won't even notice it being gone.

I'll move this to the bug report archives, thanks
