I 100% agree with this, because if you were to upload a essentials.messages config with 1 pack only it would be rejected and told you need to add more than 1 different kind of messages.

Either make an alphabet pack or minimum of 6 per pack.

So why does that not apply here Zeiyon ?

It may be because its hand drawn and still takes effort to change A -> B and so on.

All of the icons were drawn separately. Sketched separately, lined separately, and coloured separately. Someone compared this to typing messages in essentials and uploading them separately- all I can say to that is you clearly don’t understand how long illustration truly takes. It’s not comparable to typing 1 line in essentials.messages- these took hours to draw.
I don’t want badges, I just want a way for customers to self-checkout while only purchasing one at a time. I’m not going to sell them in packs of 6 or do the whole alphabet because then if someone wanted to buy it, they’d be paying for stuff they don’t need. If someone just needs 1 letter for their icon, they shouldn’t have to pay for 6. That’s why they’re uploaded separately.

In all honesty, I think this should be allowed. It's not like its a little bit of work, you can obviously see a load of work has been put into each one.

You could really compare this to configuration packs, you can easily make a ton of configurations with different colour schemes and do that by just do CTRL + R but with this, you would have to then create a whole new image due to it not just being a font or something. (My point about that is configs are allowed so this should also be allowed)

Regardless even if they were drafted differently,

So essentially, I could make a plugin with 10 features, put a bunch of time into each feature, and then break each feature down into its own plugin so I can mass post spam because "I made them all differently, each one is unique, people might not need the other features". Regardless its a waste of space. They buy the entire thing or not. Breaking stuff down like this is a little redundant. I think there's too much of a grey area here...

Obviously I wont do any of this, nor would I suggest anyone too, but I really think the rules in this area should be reinforced.

This isn't a plugin. These icons are separate and I want to sell them separately not to spam or waste space, but simply because I want my clients to be able to purchase them one at a time and only get the ones they want. Even if I was denied uploading them all separately (which I wasn't, they were accepted), I would never post them all together. Having them separate was my choice to make and that's how I want them to be distributed.
There's really no argument here because the resource mods themselves have allowed this. Imagine if you coded a bunch of plugins and happened to finish them all at once and be ready to upload; why should you have to bundle them together if you want to sell them separately? Because people are upset with "spam"? That's hours of work you're talking about. In this analogy they are separate plugins, as these are separate icons. Just because I'm posting them all at once doesn't erase the hours of work that went on behind the scenes, and shouldn't mean I have to bundle them together.


I posted another icon a few months ago, an "R". It's the only thing in that resource. Nobody complained then, because it was just 1 icon. Yet now I suddenly have to upload a whole alphabet in order to have a resource, just because I have a bunch at once?

You convinced me to change my view on the matter, never really understood the effort in changing each letter.:tup:
