Yeah it's a massive problem, everyone whos been mod on their mates 10 player faction server is now a professional manager and needs a $200 a month salary for doing the same work as a voluntary admin. Some really are a league above the rest, in terms of contacts in both services and with youtubers etc, but I don't see any of them needing to promote themselves in that section.

I agree sort of, but it is Minecraft. I made this mostly out of a joke, people can do what they want. I mean, I'm one of the people offering management. It is silly to think about this as a big picture sort of thing, but it really doesn't matter.
So are you looking for a solution like what happened to the hosting section?

The hosting forum is broken into smaller sub-groups to split more established and reputable companies from the rest

people seem to think that management is an easy way to get money - especially because if you had a server with like 3 people playing you could still say that you technically owned a server. hell, you could even say it was a massive server because "massive" is subjective
