Hi, so as I said, this may be really dumb, and super easy to figure out however I was not able to find anything on it, so I turned to here.

I am using Chest Commands, and I am trying to add in a "Back" button in my GUI's, but I can not seem to figure out how to do it. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thanks,

Hey,

First of all there are no dumb questions. There’s no back command, but you can let it open you main menu.
By using this Command: ‘open: example.yml’

Hopefully this helped you out.

Kind regards,

Mortmaurice

Can I explain further?

I use AnimatedMenu's, as well as ChestCommands. The Chest Commands plugin runs the menu for /upgrades, then once in there, you can click on a book, that takes you to an AnimatedMenu's GUI, and it has the Rankupgrades in there. Is there a way to put in the AnimatedMenu's (Rankups), a back button in the actual GUI to go back to the ChestCommands GUI? Where the book is at?

Yeah, use KEEP-OPEN: true in the cc menu, and use COMMAND: ‘yourcommandtoo
enanimatedmenu’

ID: stone
POSITION-X: 5
POSITION-Y: 1
NAME: '&6Animated’
LORE:
- 'Description of the item'
COMMAND: 'animatedmenu’
KEEP-OPEN: true

That should do it, hopefully this makes you understand :)

Now, does this go in the AnimatedMenu's folder?

No this is for the chestcommands menu
I would need the back button to be in the AnimatedMenu's GUI. As, it is the GUI that opens after you click on the ChestCommand menus book.

For the animatedmenu use

Command:
Name: 'somecommand'
Usage: '/somecommand'
Description: Opens a menu
Lenient-Args: true
Fallback: 'help'

And use the command to open your other menu

Would this not work?

- X: 5
Y: 3
Material:
1: '330'
Name:
1: '&8* &c&lBACK &8*'
Permission: ''
Permission-Message: ''
Lore:
- ''
Commands:
- 'console: upgrades'

This is getting to technical for me.. xD

Console would let the console open the menu, the player has to open the menu and therefore use the command.

So, where would I put this at then?

Most likely something like that, never used animatedmenu. But let the player use the /upgrades command.

Nvm, solved that issue... Now, it has the door in it, but when I click it, it is saying unknown command.

Then the command is incorrect in chestcommands.
Shouldn't be because I can type /upgrade in chat and it works just fine. But when I click on the door it says unknown command.

Then change the executed command to be /upgrade, should do the trick
E:

Code:
- X: 5
Y: 3
Material:
1: '330'
Name:
1: '&8* &c&lBACK &8*'
Permission: ''
Permission-Message: ''
Lore:
- ''
Commands:
- 'player: upgrade'

That should be the replace code more or less
