What needs to stop? fake logo threads.
Fake logo threads encourage exit scammers to make these "FREE LOGO THREADS" that are litterally just logo generators used for free rep or a really shitty photoshop picture. if a person wants a free logo let them find out themselves how to find it.

Many marketplaces (like upwork, etc) show the amount of money someone has received from their service rather than a reputation score, but obviously something like that isn't possible for us unfortunately since the money doesn't go through MC-Market.

I don't know how we could stop this, I guess it's just up to users to read someones reputation rather than looking at someones number and assuming they're reputable.

'Rep should not be used as currency' and the people doing this are essentially using it as currency, a way to get 'paid' for making the logo. They don't give out the actual logo unless the person receiving gives them a positive rep.

Ah, it's actually like that then? Then I fully agree, that specific practice must be stopped. That would turn this suggestion into a suggestion to enforce that rule more strictly.

It's perfectly allowed to give out free logos, but you must do so freely and hope someone will give you positive rep for it. Requiring positive rep would be using it as currency as Jerry said

On the same note, people are doing 'giveaways' in which you have to give them a vouch in order to receive the item you've won. Same sort of thing that is ridiculous and should not be allowed.

It could work like this though.

Pay via PayPal's IPN service- so basically through a page on McM but the money goes directly to the recipient. McM then gets a callback from PayPal with all details about the transaction, i.e. completed, chargebacked etc. I could literally make a thing that does this in 30 minutes.

I agree I have exposed a bunch of these kids doing it, such as Paella, They get icons and sometimes even sell them, which is illegal, I got a lot suspended for selling graphics without rights.

If someone is offering logos that they don't actually own, then please report it and they'll be warned for selling an item or service they don't own. If someone is actually creating the logos though, there's really nothing against our rules in that.
