Thoughts on resources dominating the market

What are your thoughts on resources dominating the market?

We have all seen on MCMARKET or other resource platforms certain plugins/resources are always at the top but rarely get any updates compared to smaller ones updating almost every week.

Think about Minecraft Plugins, the first resources I can think of is LiteBans, Buycraft, LuckPerms, WorldEdit, PermissionEx.

Think about self hosted discord bots, the first thing I think about is Corebot and not many other big names...

What are your thoughts on resources dominating the market. Do you think people should purchase smaller resources with only 5 purchases for the same price? just to give them a shot?

Personally I buy almost any discord bot resource on MCMARKET because I like supporting the community and I make enough money from my projects such as Corebot Addons that I can afford to spend 10$ here and 15$ there.

Yes I might be a bit bias for Corebot because I have resources for Corebot but then I also have resources on Zeltux Discord bot on the site but Corebot has a bigger community so I put all my time in for corebot.

Corebot has a pretty closed community since you need to own the resource to see all the channels etc.

What are your thoughts on resources dominating the market?

Uh, super weird and disconcerting viewpoint you have here. It's a "free market" after all. Litebans, Luckyperm etc built a name for themselves as a trusted resource that holds a standard that shall work.

Let's say there are 2 options.

Worldedit for $40
fakeworldedit for $40

Both do the same jobs, same everything. What will people purchase? Worldedit, because it has a reputation.

If your view point in life is "support the little guy because he little" you need to rethink economics.

I agree it's a free marketplace and just a heads up Corebot as its resource I don't make any money or develop for the bot and I mean corebot is number one on mc market. I just like supporting the guys at Corebot but then I do dislike some of the things they do so

Just wanted to see everyone else's view on it. I enjoy supporting developers on mc market and I am just wondering what other people's thoughts are
