Your thread, your job to take care of it. If there are posts on it that violate the rules and you need them removed or if you need it locked or anything else you couldn't do yourself, report it and it'll be taken care of.
Well what if you and your development team are selling a plugin, you are splitting the profit, and you all worked on it, but only 1 person could manage the thread. Just an idea, that's all

Some teams really don't like using business accounts...
Too bad? Not a reason to create a whole custom system for those people.
Business accounts. All I can say. It's stupid to make the devs create a whole entire new system when you could just be using a business account. This is a business forum if multiple people need to manage a thread, make a business account. Ta-da, problem solved.
So? They can get over it. It does exactly what you suggest, without the need for expensive custom development. If they dont want a business account, they can just use it for threads only, and nothing else.
