Thread Randomly Disappearing

I encountered a kind of strange issue today. I had a thread up on the "Semi OG" subforum for an account with the username "Schoology." The thread seems to have disappeared; it is no longer listed under the Semi OG subforum and when I search for the thread it doesn't show up. When I try to go to the thread off of my history or off of a google search (seen here) I get this error message:


I'm sure there's a logical reason for this like a staff member taking down the thread or me having something in my settings so that I can't view the thread. But if the thread was taken down by a staff member, I'd like to know why, and if there's something messed up in my account settings, I'd like to know how to fix it.

Would a staff member take it down if they didn't think it was? Because it's a popular website that was recognized when I went on different servers (Which was explained on the thread.)

I think most semis need to be universally recognized names or words in the dictionary. If staff doesnt recognize it, it's not really universally recognized (try explaining what it is, maybe that'll work). That said, it would be nice if they sent you a short explanation, assuming that IS what happened.

Yeah. I agree- if that is what happened it would be nice for them to let me know so I wouldn’t end up confused like I am now.
