Just wondering what you're opinions on this were. Don't say Ryzen 9 because that's kinda the obvious choice

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

7 if you already have an AM4+/looking for a budget motherboard, as Ryzen TR's are comparable in price but not with their motherboard socket prices, obviously IMO.

Honestly, that's very true. I'm almost positive that Ryzen 9 is gonna destroy everything :p

Kinda depends on what else you have...
Kinda does, kinda doesn't. I'm just looking at the CPU aspect right now, let's just pretend everything else matches the CPU's level of.. goodness? However you word it :p

Ryzen 9 isn't for sale yet, right? Can't find any retailers
Not yet, soon though, they announced it[DOUBLEPOST=1547604680][/DOUBLEPOST]
Haha ok. Unless you are like an intel fanboy like me I would go with the amd
I know, but which one :p Threadripper or Ryzen 2700x

I would go for the Ryzen 2700X as Threadripper isn't meant for gaming at all. Threadripper is more for graphics-designing, high workloads. the 2700X also has a better Singlecore performance/clock speed.

I'm currently autocad and editing thats why.
If you use autocad 2700x is better than 1950x. Autocad is single threaded[DOUBLEPOST=1548784739][/DOUBLEPOST]

It depends from what are you going to do with that
For example, if you need a gaming CPU a Ryzen 2600X is more than enough

Eh, I feel like my 2600x is bottlenecking me, and I just kinda want an upgrade
