Hello Mc-Marketers,

My name is Mat and today I am here with my new idea for the next big update for Mc-Market and what Mick (Even though we have a bad relationship on here) can do to improve the site and make it that little bit more Unique and interesting so that the new users have an idea of how the site works and what to do.

So recently I have decided to stay active on the site and make my self better known on the site which is going to be a slow but worthwhile experience to do. However while I was browsing through the Suggestion area of the site i'd seen that loads of suggestions have and havn't been approved and the ones that have been approved either have been completely ignored or forgotten about due to the fact that their has been no visible change on the site to do with it.

My suggestion for the site are the following things which need to be worked on and then some which could be worked on;

Needs work:
  • Reputation System
  • Thread's
  • Site security
Could be worked on;
  • Community ideas being implanted into the site
  • Staff in new areas of the site
Reputation System
Now I know this has been talked about thousands of times before and realize i'm going to be ripped into because of it but the reputation system needs a big update and change to it because it is now just a total mess where everyone is adding rep to their mates and can do this down to 3 times a day which i see is way too much per day and personally I think it should be a max of 2 for people with supreme and 1 for supreme and under to reduce reputation farming.

As of what has been said above another idea is that the reputation is completely scraped and replaced with something new such as a Vouch system where you provide a thread link and the vouch and proof they worked for you ect... However this is just an idea so don't lose your shit about it.

Threads
Now before you go mental about this , it's not all bad.

Threads on Mc-Market are increasingly becoming more and more frequent in a way where theirs a new thread every 5 minutes which is sometimes posted in the wrong section or is a spam thread and this can cause people to lost their shit about it and go on a spree of toxicity.

As a solution for this I in my opinion think there should be a certain format that threads should follow only if it has to include a few certain words. There is also another idea here that could work but this ties in with the Staff in new areas of the site.

Site Security
Now this is a big issue as iv'e seen it on my end with me using a VPS even though i'm supreme. When I load the site up sometimes I cannot use it because I have been using a VPS and this has stopped me from doing what is needed. However another thing I think Mick and his team should think of adding is another way to protect your account such as a 4 did digit pin to login as a secondary choice and then doing your password.

Community Idea
Now, Mick as I see it and i'm not blaming this on you or your team but for as long as iv'e been visiting the site I have not seen many huge updates in the area of community suggestions being implanted into the site it self. Yes their has been a new theme added in which I like some other do not prefer and would like an option to change back to the old theme. Along with this the new add-on in which pwing designed but that's about it, Yes I understand it would cost to get this all done but you have over 1 thousand devs on here in which would love to help make mcm better for a small price. Non the less the site looks good.

New Staff

Yes I understand that their is staff that already do this and that's the issue. You don't have enough staff in which can cover each section of the site and find and help reports and this has led to a slow response for some people.
Adding in new staff would help make Doge , M6Gaming 's jobs that little bit more easier and this in return would also help keep the site less toxic. But the other side of this story is picking of staff and deciding if they are eligible enough for it.

Either way to all staff out their you do your jobs well so yeah :)

Regards
Mat (Please not everything said here is an idea or opinion and note I don't care what you have to say about it :))

All suggestions are met with an answer eventually. It is perfectly allowed to up a thread if it gets lost in the pages.

Although this system would provide less spam and troll reputation, there would still be a large amount of abuse in creating fake deals. (Mentioned many, tens, hundreds, and maybe thousands of times)

Report those threads and they'll be dealt with, I see no way of a computer sorting out the good from the bad.

Two factor authentication, plenty of security.

I'd like a name and number of every single one of those developers willing to work for cheap, thank you.

Suggested and denied plenty of times. Mick has stated that there is a sufficient staff count to provide support and moderation. The response time on McM is actually quite impressive.

I wouldn't create a feedback/suggestion thread if you didn't want feedback or suggestions.

Reputation system - debatable. Im not sure WHAT the change should be yet.
Thread template - you don't explain this very elaborately, but I think you mean a template for low-length messages? how would this work?
Security - Use 2FA, why add a second password in shape of a PIN?
Commnunity ideas - that may be on your part then, there was a pretty big one quite recently. Unless our defintions vary drastically
New staff - considering the amount of people on this site fit for it, it's already a tough choice. And training up a new mod would actually add to the workload at first. Having been that new mod quite recently, I can attest to this.
Not to mention that in the case of Justis and M6, both of them work with crazy efficiency. Adding a mod who would work at normal speed would not contribute significantly.[DOUBLEPOST=1505672058][/DOUBLEPOST]Another reason to not drastically change/replace the reputation system: Completely fucking over those who have collected dozens of legitimate reputation already.

No, I add 3 a day sometimes for MiddleManning, then selling stufd (I usually sell all my stuff at once), I like the reputation as it is.

This pretty much sums up most of the responses to this. Thanks for writing such a detailed thread but in the future if all suggestions could be submitted separately that would be much easier to handle.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
