There is a difference between autism and purposeful ignorance. Example: I put hand sanitizer on my hand and lit it on fire ( safely , was at a boy scout camp with people who know how it works ) then extinguished it seconds after without injury. those brown rings looked like they might've been third degree burns or worse, so I'm pretty sure thats a yes.
Now, I wonder if there's people that would do this again if challenged a second time. Considering how fucking painful it is to recover from third degree burns, I doubt it.
