TopMCServer, also known as TMS, is recruiting volunteer staff members to help operate and grow a Minecraft server-listing platform built around trust instead of vote inflation.
Most server lists rely heavily on votes, paid visibility, and self-reported claims. TMS is being built differently.
Our focus is on TrueRank, server vouches, manual review, Non-P2W visibility standards, server quality, community trust, and better tools for Minecraft server owners.
We are looking for people who want to help build a serious platform, not people who only want a staff title.
Available Volunteer Roles
Server Listing Staff
Review server submissions, check for missing or low-quality listing details, help verify server information, flag possible issues, and support owners who need help improving their listings.
Trust & Safety Staff
Assist with reports, suspicious behavior, scam concerns, impersonation concerns, server quality issues, appeals, and reputation-related cases. This role requires maturity and good judgment.
Discord Moderator
Help keep the TMS Discord organized, friendly, and safe. This includes answering basic questions, redirecting users to the right place, handling low-level issues, and escalating serious concerns.
Marketing Team
Help promote TMS through social posts, Discord advertising, guide launches, referral announcements, server outreach, and general visibility campaigns.
Partnerships / Growth Team
Help find good Minecraft communities, server owners, groups, and projects that may be a fit for partnerships, referrals, or collaboration.
Community Manager
Help welcome new members, encourage useful discussion, support announcements, improve activity, and make the TMS Discord feel like an actual community instead of just a support server.
What We Expect
These are volunteer positions. We are realistic about that. We are not expecting anyone to be online all day.
That said, we are looking for people who can be consistent, mature, and reliable.
Ideal staff should be able to:
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Avoid drama, ego, and power-tripping
- Use official channels or tickets for serious issues
- Ask leads for help instead of guessing on major decisions
- Treat server owners and players fairly
- Be active enough to actually help
- Follow staff guidelines and escalation rules
- Care about improving Minecraft communities
What TMS Is Building
TMS is not trying to be another generic vote leaderboard.
We are building around:
- TrueRank - a ranking system designed around stronger quality signals
- Vouches - reputation feedback from real community members
- Manual Review - human review for server claims, quality, and trust concerns
- Non-P2W Standards - fairer visibility rules for servers
- Discord Integration - TMS Bot tools for votes, vouches, and server actions
- Guides & Resources - practical help for server owners, staff, and players
The goal is simple: help players find better servers and give good server owners a better way to be discovered.
Who This Is Best For
This may be a good fit if you:
- Have experience with Minecraft servers, Discord moderation, marketing, partnerships, community management, or Trust & Safety
- Want to help build a newer platform from the ground up
- Are tired of server lists that only reward vote spam
- Can handle feedback without taking it personally
- Can be professional with server owners, players, and other staff
- Want to help shape standards, workflows, and community expectations
Minecraft experience helps, but maturity and consistency matter more.
Important Notes
- These are volunteer positions.
- This is for TopMCServer as a platform, not a single Minecraft server network.
- Staff are expected to use official channels and tickets for serious issues.
- Some roles may require extra review before permissions are granted.
- Aethro Executives are the final escalation point, but staff should go through their leads first whenever possible.
- We are looking for helpful people, not people chasing a title.
