If you get banned for not being over 13, you should be able to appeal when you are 13 and be welcomed back to MCM. A form would do. ie: mc-market.org/appeal

Those bans aren't permanent though. They expire when the user turns 13.

I think you are allowed, say if I was banned. To create an account called Fire_Temp for the purpose of submitting a support ticket or creating a scam report, and nothing more.

I noticed some bans were saying they did, but wasn't cakesg's ban permanent? It ends "never", while some give a specified end date on the day they turn 13. I would suggest it was different reasons, but it says it was his age

Why is the rule 13 though lol. My brother wanted to make an account and he is excellent at java etc. But he cant. Just because someone is under 13 doesnt mean they cant be reasonable. Even so if we have the rule that only 13 year olds and up then they are adults. (In Jewish culture yes) So if I got a warning point for swearing why? We are all adults. The only reason why 18 is adulthood is because people are pussies. I knew how to file W4 forms when I was 9. I was helping my dad do taxes etc when I was 12.

The rules you have contradict themselves.

No one younger than 13.

No one is allowed to cuss.

If someone does not want to get banned for being under legal age, say they really want to, why don't they just set their age to something over 13?

Not acusing anyone, I myself am 14, but tbh this is kinda like gun control. You can't keep guns out of the hands of bad people no matter how many laws you pass, because if those people are breaking 1 law, they might as well break more...

Just my opinion.

nobody is allowed to curse? really? you have to actually go overboard to get a warning in most cases.
Using phrases like "what the fuck" is unlikely to get you a warning for cursing.
now, if you say something like "B*tch*ssN**ga S*ck *my D*ck", you're susceptible to get one, or if you spam minor swears everywhere (though a warning for spamming is then more likely).
In the several months I've been mod here, I have not heard of a single case of a person getting a warning just for isolated use of the word "fuck". If it's targeted at someone and accompanied by other statements, maybe.

Also, CloutGoggles , the reason it's 13 is because of the Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). It means that websites collecting identifibale information (such as an IP) about anyone under the age of 13 need written permission from the child's parents. Since this is a very big hassle to go through for every registering member, many sites (like MCM) have decided to forbid anyone under 13 from registering.
As for why that law chooses the age of 13, I wouldn't know. I can't read the mind of the lawmakers.

Like Fire said, if there's an appeal that needs to be made you can add _temp to the end of your account and create a support request. Denied.

Thanks for your suggestion.
