I think the thread that the deal took place should not be required, I have done multiple deals in private message and it's pretty annoying not being able to include those.

I agree. It also doesn't let me do it for people that we've done homework business with because I didn't start the thread - Montyburly did - but we're equal partners in the business who share all the work. Doesn't make sense that only one of us should get the trade ratings for that.
The current system punishes people who do business in PM or offsite and people who are partners with others.
People will just find a way to abuse it anyways.

Yeah I agree. It's a major inconvenience to have to go searching through my posts to find my sales thread. It's just going to deter people from giving trade ratings because it's too much of a hassle.

While we are discussing this, I think they also need to remove the 12-feedback cap. I don't really understand the point of it since you can't boost a single person more than once per 24 hours, so why does there need to be a 12-person cap on total feedbacks left per day.
I was trying to go through my sales ledger and leave feedback for everyone I've dealt with and out of like 200~ clients I only made it through 12. It will take me weeks to catch up on that backlog.
I think its because some people will go around rating others positive and then contact them saying like, how about a feedback for a feedback etc.
Yeah, well there needs to be a rule against that and that'd solve that problem. I don't know why that already isn't against the rules. Everyone I've left feedback for thus far is someone I've actually dealt with.
I dont believe this problem can be solved.
For example, ive made hundreds off of EBay, and this is like their feedback system.
One thing I realized is that some people will make alts and buy like hundreds of their own products to boost ratings on ebay... But again, ebay did manage it pretty well as they are rich af.
