Heyo! For things such as Video Game Items and the Sub Forum "Fortnite" there is a lot of not selling and buying but trading with it. Which is why I'm suggesting the "Trading" prefix, I think it'd be an amazing addition because if someone would want to trade their account for another one that they've wanted for a while now instead of getting your thread possibly missed just put the "Trading" prefix. Thanks!

We had this before for all of our products forums, it was intentionally removed.

If you’re in the fortnite section posting a thread with the "Trading" prefix, you’re not indicating whether you have a fortnite account and want to trade another fortnite account for it, or if you have items and want to trade them for a fortnite account, or if you have a fortnite account and want to trade them for items.
This is the case for all sections. Plugins, configs, art, etc. It’s completely unhelpful.

On the otherhand "Selling" indicates you have that section’s product and are looking for something in return for it, while "Buying" indicates you’re looking for that section’s product. Whether you’re accepting/offering PayPal, credit card, USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, or other items, you can specify that in your post. A prefix wouldn’t be right for that.

The problem you’re seeing, however, that it’s difficult to locate threads offering what you’re looking for and asking for what you have to acquire it, is a real problem. I addressed this when I suggested developing an integrated filtering system similar to eBay or Amazon, who are very successful marketplace platforms and have built the most extensive and practical filtering systems. Adding our own will make prefixes obsolete.

That filtering system is already queued for development. When it’s done, you’ll be able to enter your trading info into the metadata of your thread, and people will be able to search for and find you specifically if you’re within the range of what they’re looking to find.

Anyway, we’re definitely not adding trading prefixes back.
