No, use camera studio. Also, learn After effects; NOT Sony vegas
Yeah I was going to use camera studio, it seems a lot more simple, is there any editing packs for trailers or is that not a thing?

This is all I could think of off the top of my head.

General Editing
No matter what software you're using- if you're beginner start simple and learn the basics first. Make sure you find original music that has a steady beat and is copyright free. At first, learn to sync your clips to the beat, then learn to use velocity/speed ramping to make it sync better. Also, try and keep titles minimalistic with a simple font, and transitions simple and consistent throughout the trailer.

No, use camera studio. Also, learn After effects; NOT Sony vegas
Mods
Coming from someone that has used both in the past - replay mod is by far better than Camera Studio. Unlike Camera Studio it allows you to get all the clips you need without being on the server, it's also being actively updated and has dozens of extra features like 360 degree rendering, chroma keying, etc.

Editing software
If you're new to editing then you can't go wrong with Vegas, very simple and has everything you need to create a simple trailer. If you're more experienced and looking to create more complex effects then I'd definitely recommend Premiere and AE. In terms of trailer making, AE is usually used to create particles, animated titles and motion tracking. If you chose to learn Vegas make sure you get Vegas 14 as it has a load of improvements from previous versions.

Most importantly you should focus on creating your own style instead of trying to replicate other peoples, lol.

here's something that my friend Venomancy has to say to you (i have nothing to do with this):

ReplayMod is not better than CameraStudio. Unless you want a a glitchy camera & awful shadows, feel free to use it. I only recommend using ReplayMod if you're shooting a scene with players in; not just recording usual camera angles. I've seen your editing before, and in my opinion your trailers are awfully laggy. I wonder why? ReplayMod. You're probably not even using it correctly - you are meant to record for at least 1 minute and time remap the clip to prevent lag, unless you have a card which doesn't lag even when recording for 10 seconds/nevertheless I recommend to record for at least a minute. If you're new to editing, sure, learn Vegas, that is what I originally did. However, like you said, as you move onto the more complex effects I also recommend that you learn After Effects (not Premiere Pro/use that just for a few touch ups but nothing more)..

tips for spiral editing/general feedback:

  1. nice animation it's cool
  2. record for 60 seconds because your clips are super laggy, especially that one that was on Huahwi's channel or whatever
  3. chill on the reverse time remapping/going over the graph
  4. your 3D looks horrible. the shadows don't match your scenes
  5. overall they're decent trailers, but you definitely have a lot to improve on
final tip: you're overcharging. You can't justify $60 for a trailer with your skill set. Sorry.
Sorry, when I quoted you I wasn't trying to be rude or insult your trailers so I'm sorry if I hurt Venomancy's feelings. Anyways, I appreciate the advice, I used to use Camstudio a while ago and had a bad experience but I'll try again after what you've said. I know my trailers aren't perfect and I know my 3D work definitely isn't, but I'm not afraid to try something new and I'm working on improving. I know some people think my prices are too high but I've had plenty of clients so I'm happy with it atm.
