Mcm should have a transaction system so staff can go back into the scam report and see who scammed and also, see when the transaction was made.

Edit if you disagree please state why you disagree with this.

Please state how the transaction system would work
You know for graphics and other translations that can be done on site. Let’s take the marketplace for example. You buy plugins and you can receive the plugin that you have bought. Let’s say I was selling graphics or something right? Then you can post up something custom order in dms for the price you have agreed on with the buyer. Instead of having the old fashion way when the seller is selling something to you. You have a risk of not receiving the item but with this idea you have a higher chance plus all the transactions can be logged on mcm side to stop more scamming from happening. And then once the seller has completed the order it can be sent to you no scamming done or anything.

(I tried to explain in the best possible way I could please let me know if this still didn’t make sense thanks.)[DOUBLEPOST=1536159756][/DOUBLEPOST]Ben Any reason as to disagreeing with this?

To be 100% honest there is a lot more stuff that the staff needs to deal with and most of them being more important than this. It also just seems like a lot of hassle, if you want to be protected just use the MC-Market PM section and add staff to it in the event of being scammed
Yes however, if you add a staff to the pm wouldn’t that even make it a bigger hassle for them if everyone just adds staff to the pm It’d be quite a bit to look though.

Look, by giving currencies they need to set up bots to cashout, deal with fees, and in general just take responsibility over payments , I'm pretty sure it's a TERRIBLE idea since Mick got to deal with chargebacks, people can easily deposit 200$ , buy stuff from a bunch of designers / buy crypto, get banned after the chargeback is detected and there we go, MCM just lost 200$

Unlike premium that does not give any advantage or can be used as a currency so it doesn't mater

I mean once you open a scam report and you tell them that the deal was here on MC-Market the first thing they usually ask for is it be added to the PM. I am not too sure over the whole suggestion but there has to be a simpler way
There is most likely a simpler way to implement that’s just my idea of how it could be implemented.

thats also another thing I mean directly to the sellers PayPal not mcm paypal. It’s kinda like the marketplace on mcm.

Mcm are really not supposed to take responsibility over any kind of payment, it can't assist most of the scam reports .
The reason people get banned is because the victims provided that they never received the product, obviously they can snap a pic of them paying the person, it's just, well, useless.

By the way you didn't mention that

P.s I don't believe anyone's scam report was declined since they couldn't prove they paid, it never happened I think[DOUBLEPOST=1536160779][/DOUBLEPOST]

And btw developing a system like that won't be cheap, it's not game-changing it's just useless, might become handy but not worth the investment

First off mcm does not take any responsibility over payments and I never said they did also it’s just to lower the precent of scamming is the goal overall.

Secondly I should have mentioned that with that other post. I didn’t quite explain clearly enough.

Thirdly it has probably happened a few times with declining scam reports.

Fourthly I don’t think it is useless because people can just delete some of the messages over discord skype and etc. And make them self look better in process on the scam report.

Edit if I sounded like I went off on you apologies didn’t want it to sound like that.

Yes my friend, that's why there's a thing called Mc-market, admins clearly say to confirm the user's paypal and get a proof that it is his discord tag indeed, get a screenshot and you're good to go. it is useless, investing hundreds of dollars on a system that barely does anything and will confuse many users is a bad investment

Use the MCM private message system, I don't understand why more people don't do this.

Yes but they don’t respond for a few weeks is what I’ve been noticing. However there is most likely a inexpensive way to implement this idea.

Yeah same here. All I was trying is that that’s what most people do with discord and etc.

Lol, if they don't respond then they exist-scam / impersonate, it's simple, you shouldn't waste weeks but 5 minutes, it's a useless idea dude

They don't have to, they just attach a screen-shot to the scam report, same thing will happen even if that verifying system was a thing

Saying "add a transaction system" isn't really a good suggestion to make without elaborating on what the system would be. While we do have plans for the implementation of a contract-like system for transactions in the future, nothing has been finalised or fully planned out just yet.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
